Beaver 200 km brevet

Saturday September 4, 2010

This late season event takes advantage of the still warm but shorter days of September. Following quite rural roads and passing by some of the most remarkable petroglyphs in the region it is a very enjoyable and scenic route. Part loop and part out and back it offers good access to support services. The route departs Cedar City and goes to Parowan for the first control. Leaving Parowan riders will pass through “The Gap” which is the acheological, astronomical and geological wonder of the region. Then on to the quiet farming town of Minersville before reaching the turn around in Beaver. Beaver has been voted as having the best tasting drinking water in the nation! From here riders will return to Cedar City.
