Zion Canyon 103 Permanent Populaire

Route #3132

This route is basically an out and back to Zion National Park. From the start you will have views of Zion as you pass through Hurricane, La Verkin, Virgin, Rockville and Springdale before you turn around at the head of the canyon at the Temple of Sinawava. This is not a mid-summer ride and temps in July and August are normally over 100 degrees in the daytime. Spring and Fall are the best times to ride here.

The Details

The start location is at Lin’s Market located at 1120 West State Street in Hurricane, right on State Highway 9. I recommend parking your car on the side street and not in the markets parking lot. You will need to get a receipt from the market to confirm your start time.  The temperatures you will encounter will be from cool to very hot depending on the time of year. Please check the current weather for Hurricane Utah before you leave to prepare properly. You will need to pay a park entrance fee on this ride or possess at National Parks pass.

I sent my entry in a couple of weeks ago for the April 13 Zion Canyon ride- I haven’t received any confirmation that I am entered. Also, there is no start time listed. Please drop me an email or post to this board. Thx.
